Without Reason, a Milton Keynes based quartet who play music which reflects their diverse personalities.
Biography
Without Reason, a funk /soul grunge rock band transmitting a fresh sound from the new town of Milton Keynes. “Without Reason display some truly fantastic musicianship, and boast not only the best leader singer and lead guitarists in the area but also one of the tightest rhythm sections ; the sheer grove they create is very impressive” Stuart Johnson, MMG.
Currently Without Reason are approaching the music industry in hope to aid the promoting of their recently recorded and highly anticipated EP “Into The Open Meadows” following their well received single ‘Never Ready’ .
Bassist Ashley Deane and Guitarist James Woolley met when James starting working with Ashley four years ago. Drummer Klaudiusz Pcyzel, on the grape vine, heard the UK was the place to be for music and so migrated from Germany to become part of James and Ashley’s new project. After a few interesting auditions the guys found Louise Bowler, described as the female Eddy Vedder, she instantaneously became the forth member of Without Reason. Since that defining moment Without Reason went on to win Buckinghamshire Battle of the Bands and get to the Semi Final of a National Band Competition. They have been aired and interviewed by ‘The BBC’,’ Three Counties Radio’, ‘Wake the Nation’ and all local press. They have raised significant amounts of money for cancer research and Meningitis UK not to mention playing over two hundred gigs across the country with big promoters like FeedMe Music and MMG, supporting big names such as ‘The Hoosiers’ and ‘Electric Mary’ and playing to a growing army of fans.
Without Reason takes influence from bands such as, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Foo Fighters whilst continuously growing and adapting their own sound. With so much drive, energy and potential behind them time is the only element between now and success.
Band Interests
We love making music but we also enjoy being a social band making sure we stay connected to the local/national music scene. We all have our own personal qualities which come out in our music ranging from interests in Martial Arts, Art, Ice skating and of course PCP and KFC (the ultimate combination).
