TONIGHT!!!!! Hooton Tennis Club + The Parrots + Moats

The Roar Club and Club Biscuit are delighted to confirm that the brilliant Hooton Tennis Club will be playing Bedford Esquires on Wednesday the 21st October.
Recently described by the NME as the ‘buzziest new band of Glastonbury 2015’, Hooton Tennis Club are 4 young men from Liverpool who combine the melodic charm of Teenage Fanclub with the energy and poise of Pavement. You’ve probably already heard their singles ‘Jasper’ and the excellently titled ‘Kathleen Sat on the Arm of her Favourite Chair’ on BBC 6 Music.
Signed to the cooler than cool Heavenly Records (home of Temples, Toy, Saint Etienne, Doves and the early Manic Street Preacher singles), their debut album ‘The Highest Point in Cliff Town’ was produced by Bill Ryder-Jones (previously of The Coral) is due out at the end of August.
If you like fuzzy guitars and heartfelt lo-fi indie rock, you’ll find a lot to love here. Hooton Tennis Club are ace (rubbish tennis pun intended).
