The Friday Night Blender returns to Bedford Esquires on November 4, with live performances from Elijah Miller and The Reformers, plus special guests The Howling who’ll be closing out the night.
The Howling return to Esquires for their first gig since supporting Vant and their first headline show. We expect their gritty blues rock will be the perfect ending to this installment of the Blender.
Miller releases his third EP, The Fear, on December 15. Save the date for his launch show: https://www.facebook.com/events/1850371051851044/ . Check out a live session of his new track Coffee Man, filmed by Homage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-T_T0Nh3Cw&app=desktop
The Blender is hosted by The Reformers – who aim to bring together the best bands and deejays for an eclectic mix, perfectly blended on the night. “It’s the best of local stuff”, said Frankie Frankel. “Elijah is the stand out solo artist in the area right now and the Roll Your Own crew are a big part of the vinyl revival in this town”.
Roll your own records blend the live and the recorded, holding down the night from the decks, playing vinyl between bands and working up a full set until late. They will be joined by RipsDj Pal Singh who’ll be spinning some bhangra and some choice dubplates.
The Blender Xmas Special will be on December 23, live acts to be confirmed.
