Gans, a fresh and audacious musical endeavor born from the creative minds of two lifelong friends Euan Woodman and Thomas Rhodes. Having formerly part of Birmingham based bands, new formed Gans has embarked on a sonic journey that defies convention and embraces the absurd.
Drawing inspiration from musical mavericks like Primus, Black Midi, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Sabbath, and Led Zeppelin, Gans fearlessly navigates the vast sonic landscape with their distinctive sound. However, Gans is more than just music; they’re a visceral expression of the anxieties and quirks that define our generation. Their lyrics delve into existential dread and every day familiarities, while paying homage to cultural figures such as Karen Dalton, Jack Kerouac, Ken Kesey, Karen Carpenter and Brian Eno.
