Due to unforseen circumstances, the Das Koolies show at Esquires has been postponed. As there is no suitable date for both parties this year, refunds will be processed for ticket holders from your point of purchase. We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience caused.

Those with long memories (or just long in the tooth) will recall SFA playing Esquires way back in January of 1996, and now four members of Super Furry Animals, reconstituted as the sonically adventurous, harmonic pop x bug-eyed rave quartet, Das Koolies will bring their musical alchemy to BEDFORD on Friday 23rd August!

Das Koolies are Cian Ciaran, Guto Price, Huw Bunford and Dafydd Ieuan, aka the members of SFA who aren’t Gruff Rhys. Making noise without the group’s figurehead and vocalist may seem brave, but Das Koolies hurdle the obstacle by producing ear-invading, mind-twisting techno-pysch-glam-pop that pushes the boundaries even further than SFA. Expect Sci-Fi techno, Junkshop glam and squelchy funk – who could want more.

In association with Arts Council England, there will be a limited number of tickets for £5 for those who are on a low income or struggling with increases in the cost of living.
